“Unease is no excuse for inaction”

Quick update from Climate Week NYC: U.S. President Obama gave a short, but important, speech at the UN Climate Summit convened by Ban Ki Moon at the United Nations in New York, marking the first time a US President gave a major speech on climate change on the international stage, and marked something of a “coming out” moment, stepping out of the dark shadows of the last administration’s neglect and delay. Obama was short on details, but long on rhetoric. Plenty were let down by the speech, which many activists and advocates thought could be a the perfect opportunity for him to make that dramatic, historic climate speech that everyone’s waiting for. This one wasn’t it. See for yourself:
