One word weather…

So it’s the last day of negotiations here in Barcelona and yet again I have been kept from blogging from a range of other activities, banner painting, meeting out new head of DECC, writing youth interventions…the list goes on, and on.
So in an attempt to sum the week up without causing me to have to dwell on my own thoughts too much and getting utterly depressed, I came up with a cunning plan…
One word weather, from friends at the conference. Summing up how they think the week has gone, or how they feel, on the last day of negotiations before Copenhagen.
Here we go…

Josh (the dragon himself...ROAR)

Juliana (Brazil)

Matt (USA)

Frida (UK)

Avish (Nepal)

Ben (USA...)

Sylvia (Kenya)

Kevin (USA)

Pete (UK)

Jeremy (350!)
It’s 9.15pm, the last plenary has just finished, time has run out, Copenhagen is upon us.
What will happen? We shall see. But just imagine if at the end of Copenhagen these words read very differently…
It CAN still happen!

Fabulous blog post Anna! Depressing but insightful to see the faces and feelings of people at the UN conference.
Thanks for sharing. Copenhagen CAN only be better…. right?
Sorry to see all this guys. Keep a stiff upper lip until we can achieve critical mass to take enough names and poke enough shoulders to get something done.
I like photo blogs! (Now I can see why you were busy uploading photos!)
Haha! I like how Jeremy is from 350-land!
I’m feeling all of this stuff too. I hardly need to tell anyone who’s already involved: let’s keep it up and rock on! nothing less will save us!
