Youth in China asked Obama for action

Climate change vs poverty in China and other developing countries
Nothing is more self-explanatory than the images themselves.
Right before Obama paid his visit to China, 11 youth from China used their action to call for Obama to take his action on 11 Nov 2009. Using bowls to make the name of the US President, it symbolised the fact that they believe climate change is the driver of poverty in developing nations, including China.
According to Oxfam Hong Kong, ”in 2005, 90 per cent of the population of people living in absolute poverty in China were affected by climate change; and that figure is expected to rise”. In the press release, it also reported that farmlands are no longer productive in some part of China, and villagers are forced to move to other places.
