This morning at the climate talks in Bonn a wedding took place.
Youth activists ‘married’ annex 1 countries (that’s the developed countries) to the Kyoto Protocol (that’s emission reductions) with the message ‘true love needs commitment’.
As the talks continue here in Bonn and time ticks down towards the end of the 1st KP commitment period in 2012 the message was for annex 1 countries to step it up and commit to ambitious targets that are legally binding post 2012.
