据白宫报导,奥巴马与温家宝在会议场内作双边会谈,并「取得进展」。这个为时55分钟会谈于下午1.35结束。白宫人员称是次讨论为具建设性,并按奥巴马于讲话中列出的三个范畴 – 各国减排目标, 核实机制以及资金问题。奥巴马及温家宝随后逐一会见各自的谈判团队,以及其他国家的代表,目的是寻求共识。白宫官员续说,这是迈进了一步及有进展。他目的是是于今天达成共识。
