video: NGO’s take on COP18
While our Fellows are tracking negotiators and writing their own views on what they see, we often collaborate with our friends at the Climate Action Network to get a sense of the big picture or dig into some tricky details of the talks. Here’s CAN’s closing press conference after political negotiations came to a close earlier this evening.
Our CAN friends left the plenary halls angry - about COP18′s outcome & about the utter lack of political will brought by the countries most responsible for creating climate change. Many of those countries are also essential to meaningfully address it. They’re ready to pour their frustration into more work back home.
