UPDATE (11 February):

All sections were uploaded, and as we expected they now account on aggregate for over 80 pages: 88, precisely (see updated infographic below). Will Co-chairs manage to streamline such a long text?

10 February

This afternoon, ADP Co-chairs resumed the session by announcing that new, updated versions of the sections were available on the UNFCCC website. When last checking a few minutes ago, sections C, D, E, G, H, I and J were online.

If the final text was released right now, it would be 64 pages; +27 than the Lima version, with sections K, L, M, Preamble (A) and Definitions (B) still to be released.

Since those still missing account, on aggregate, for 12 pages, this means the starting base is 76, and that at this rate we will most likely exceed 80 pages. Like, more than twice the Lima text.

But no panic! Streamlining will save us.

Well, maybe?

Apparently, more than a few issues have arose in room XIX of the UN Palace, with Parties trying to figure out what they should do.

Co-chairs asked parties to propose ideas on how the text should be streamlined. However, the only result so far has been a lot of confusion. The session was just suspended, and will be resumed at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning.

We’ll keep tracking the situation. In the meantime, enjoy our new infographic to follow how the text is evolving!
