Adopt a Negotiator’s Project Director Joshua Wiese joined veteran Adopt a Negotiator Fellows Farrukh Zaman and Alex Lenferna to talk about some of the strategic thinking that underlies their planning and writing. Wiese shares his approach to helping Fellows develop their communications strategy for climate negotiations. Zaman and Lenferna discuss how they’ve adapted their strategies to fit their climate tracking goals and changing circumstances shaping the context of their work.

Alex Lenferna is a climate activist from South Africa. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Washington studying the ethics of climate change. He was an Adopt a Negotiator Fellow during the Durban Climate Change Conference.

Farrukh Zaman is climate activist from Pakistan working as a researcher with WWF. Zaman was an Adopt a Negotiator Fellow during the Durban and Doha Climate Change Conference.

Joshua Wiese is a Director at the Global Call for Climate Action, leading its Adopt a Negotiator project.
