Last Negotiations on Kyoto Protocol
Hello my dear Readers!
It is already 1am and I am writing you live from the last last moments from COP16. We waited all morning (and afternoon) long for the results of this whole conference!
Finally, at 9:28 pm the “party” began… and these were some of the most interesting positions I would like to share with you:
3. I believe that what Venezuela said about “inclusion” becomes a very important part of the protocol we are trying to reach. They talked about the importance of reaching this commitment, but politely they suggested that Bolivia’s perspective should be listened by the COP.
In Conclusion: Nice and Gentle but Strong!
2. Well, my second choice is Kuwait. I would like to resume it by quoting the last sentence they said, “Yes Cancun CAN, Yes WOMEN CAN”.
In Conclusion: Gender partipation and positive message!
1. Finally, I would like to give my number one to India. I thought that the message was quite funny, accurate, reasonable and the minister of environment refered to this night at the COP16 as “Tonight GOD is very close to Mexico.”
He also mentioned that India’s role will be “legitimate, we will be positive and progressive.” Good commitments, and understanding of the issue!
In Conclusion: Transparent, Unique and Positive as well.
I had to tell Jairam Ramesh, Indian Minister of Environment, that his words really inspired some of us on the fight against Climate Change

Últimas Negociaciones sobre el Protocolo de Kioto
¡Hola mis queridos lectores y lectoras!
Ya pasan de la 1am y estoy escribiendo sobre las últimas conclusiones del Protocolo de Kioto en la COP16. Estuvimos esperando toda la mañana (y tarde y noche) de largo por los resultados de esta conferencia entera!
Por último, a las 09:28 la “fiesta” inició … y estas fueron algunas de las propuestas y posiciones que me parecieron más interesantes y que comparto con ustedes:
3. Creo que lo que Venezuela dijo acerca de la “inclusión” se convierte en una parte muy importante del protocolo que estamos tratando de alcanzar. Hablaron sobre la importancia de llegar a este compromiso, sin ser altaneros también dijeron que sugiere que la perspectiva de Bolivia debe ser escuchado por la COP
En conclusión: Amable y suave, pero fuerte!
2. Bueno, mi segunda opción es Kuwait. Me gustaría volver al citar la última frase que dijo: “Sí Cancún Puede, Sí las MUJERES Podemos”.
En conclusión: partipation Género y mensaje positivo!
1. Por último, me gustaría dar mi número uno de la India. Pensé que el mensaje fue muy divertido, preciso, razonable y el ministro de medio ambiente a que se refiere esta noche en la COP16 como “Esta noche Dios está muy cerca de México”.
También mencionó que el papel de la India será “legítimo, que será positivo y progresivo”. Compromisos buena, y la comprensión de la cuestión!
En conclusión: transparente, único y positivo también.
