Define: Wonk \ˈwäŋk, ˈwȯŋk\ -noun slang: a person who studies a subject or issue in an excessively assiduous and thorough manner: a policy wonk.

Here at the UNFCCC there’s rather a lot of wonks around. It’s nothing to be ashamed of, the Adopt a Negotiator project is proud to have a good few wonks on the team. But we also know there’s rather a lot of you sitting back at home.

You know who you are, you follow the webcast obsessively, your twitter is following #UNFCCC and you check your email every 10 minutes in the morning anxiously waiting for the email containing ECO to drop into your inbox.

Well, to reward your dedication to the UNFCCC and just for your pleasure we here at the Adopt a Negotiator Project have put together a section of the site where you can indulge your inner climate nerd to your hearts content.

Our new documents and resources section is updated daily with all the latest UNFCCC documents, news and reports from across the spectrum so for the first time you can have a one stop shop for all your wonky needs.

No need to thank us, just enjoy. Though if you’re following the talks and feel the need to express your opinion, or if you want to help track what’s going on - we’re looking for contributors and would love to hear from you.
