I walked out of the COP19 in Warsaw several hours ago. I don’t feel frustration, or sadness, or despair. Actually, I am pretty annoyed with the “frustration” that everybody is talking about – negotiations are interesting as hell, and I almost lost my head in this process. These talks are like sport – yesterday I almost peed in my pants when the Saudi delegation killed a spider during ADP session. I promise to keep you updated about what is happening with UA delegation – though can not promise that it would be something worth attention.

I did not get much encouragement on the “walkout” decision from the PM’s, and actually I am the only fellow who left the conference. I miss my team so much.

But I know that I have to be sincere in what am I doing here.

Today Ukraine officially suspended the agreement on association with EU. Our energy development course is another Coaland, what is fully reflected in Ukrainian current energy strategy and poor pledges on the current conference. I assumed that I could not make a big influence talking to our delegates during these negotiations – they do not make their own decisions. But I am lucky to have this advantage.

Walking out of this conference, hand by hand with people that I admire, was the most inspiring experience of solidarity that I have ever had. I feel like in my family among these strangers. Also, I have a lot of homework to do, and they could help me.

So, I am not spending this evening in the warm Stadium Narodowy – a homeless man with a scary beard and policy managers from Greenpeace International are eating my “Chocolate for change” in the Convergency Space. Frustration - no, but I am not satisfied with where things are. I am a reckless person, you know. Mr. Chyzhenko, Mr. Koval, Ms. Kushko, Ms. Shtets – you better be tracking me from now too. BTW, followers, don’t forget to buy your evening pop-corn (or pampers) for the evening tracks tonight.
