今日は日本の交渉官である環境省の島田国際調整官にお話をうかがうことができました!!もともと国連などで国際的に活躍されていた方で、現在は日本の交渉官として世界中で活躍されています。 国際的にも有名で、会議も終盤になりかなりお忙しい中、30分強の時間をいただくことができました。どのような思いで、国際交渉の最前線にたたれているのかインタビューの様子をお伝えします!特に最後にいただいた若者にむけたメッセージは全員に読んで欲しいです!! ・日本の中期目標について、多くの反応がありましたが、どのようにお考えですか。 批判をうけるというのはとてもいいことだと考えている。それは日本が注目されているということであって、今まで、頭ごなしで上滑りになりがちだった日本の交渉スタイルが変わってきたことであり、一番よくないのは無関心であることだから。
