Waiting for a blue sky day…

This is the conference centre on Sunday.
Here it is this morning.
We’ve heard lots of different reasons for the difference in the smog, including the fact it rained at the weekend clearing it up, and the fact it was a national holiday, meaning some of the factories were turned off.
Whatever the reason, it’s scary.
China may be leading the race to the low carbon future, but present conditions illustrate that this is definately a marathon, not a sprint.
As inside negotiations stagnate and outside the smog descends, we can only keep our fingers crossed that another blue sky day is just around the corner.
